Senior shepherd openly wept in shelter lobby as his owner request euthanasia and walked away

Troy had no idea what was happening when he unknowingly looked up at his family for the last time. It had been a quick goodbye, and suddenly a lifetime of good memories were gone.

Now Troy sits in a metal kennel at Animal Control PBC Florida. His family no longer had time for him. What did he do wrong?

There is nothing quite like the sting of the pain of rejection. When you first meet Troy , a 9-year-old German Shepherd who now makes a living at the Animal Control PBC Florida, the first thing that comes to mind is how sad he looks.

  1. Keep the dog, have the owner put to sleep. The dog is clearly a superior being capable of loyalty, and love , seriously lacking in the specimen that left him there. 😠
