Routinely passed up for adoption at kill shelter, 6 months old terrified pup pray for miracle

Betsy is trying so hard to remain positive, but shelter life has taken its toll on her emotionally. The once happy go lucky pup, who just a few weeks ago was living a good life, was mercilessly surrendered to the San Antonio Animal Care Services.

Betsy is such a cute pup. This little sweetheart is very friendly and just wants someone to love her. She really is a great girl and is looking forward to finally having a home. Once you meet her you'll see just how amazing she really is! Betsy is about 15 lbs and is only 6 months old.

**PAST DEADLINE! Needs Commitment by 9:30AM and Picked Up by 6:30PM Friday 6/15!**

  1. This poor fur baby deserves a chance to find a furever home. Are there any local fosters who can save a life?

  2. How could you have an update for Saturday, June 16th? It’s only 1am in the morning PST!!! You never have updates anyways!!! Is this an automated response to everything you post? I don’t know why I expected more from you!!!

  3. I have reached out- the puppy has ringworm and a severe skin infection that the city has not started to treat. I would love to give this puppy a home but we live in NC- asking HIM to travel this far, this unhealthy is not fair. I have friends and family in the area but they cannot foster a sick dog and risk the health of their pups :(

  5. if you can get Betsy to Kent WA, I will give her a forever home filled with love. I'm starting to wonder if you guys are pulling at heart-strings with the sad "nobody wants me" stories and suggesting they're walking the green mile. I would love to see how much you want Betsy to find a home...
