Swiper little chihuahua boy fights for his life, crying all day as no-one came for him

My name is SWIPER and I'm an approximately 6 years old male chihuahua lh. I am not yet neutered. I have been at the Lancaster Animal Care Center since April 6, 2018. I am available on April 6, 2018. You can visit me at my temporary home L717.

He may then panic, as the needle goes in, trying to get into someone's arms, trying to be comforted as she gasps her last breath. A mere statistic, a number, thrown into a plastic bag, tossed in a dumpster, then forgotten and lost in history.

  1. I’d take him in a hot second! I live in Maine though. Is that possible? Have been searching
Shelters, humane soc. ASPCA, etc. I’m 65. Just lost my dearest little friend & companion of 11+ yrs. to CHF
on feb.24,2018 patience, loving forever home, no other dogs. sealarsen6@gmail.com. Love & best wishes for all you do!

  2. I can transport to maine from lancaster

    1. are you a licensed transporter?

    2. how would you transport? Ground transport is very stressful on them. The older they are the harder it is. Better to fly

  3. Dennis Lee...can you transport to southern AZ? We run Cochise Canine Rescue....www.cochisecaninerescue.org

  4. I can take him, will need transportation to southern Nevada. I live on over an acre in Pahrump Nevada. Have one senior chihuahua, I've had her for 14 years. 775-910-1205

    1. Tracy ask one of your local rescues to help you get him...........

  5. Can he be flown to another state?

    1. yes but you'd need a puller and be able to pay - pulling fees, neuter - any medical I pulled 2 today and it was about 250 for two so maybe 125 for him to be treated for Kennel Cough which he will have after being there so long, he will need a health certificate to fly and he has to have rabies but that will be given to him by the shelter
      - you'll have to pay for transporting from shelter to vet - vet to airport - you'll pay for the kennel he will fly in and the flgiht
