sadly, no one wants to adopt this young neglect pup because of the color of his coat

In the shelter world, the only group of animals that are discriminated more against besides pit bulls, are animals with black coats. In fact, statistics show that the euthanasia rate for animals like cats and dogs with black coats is just as high as pit bulls. Sad indeed.

A shelter volunteer who wished to remain anonymous for this story says that the only reason she could think of as to why this pup has not been adopted has to do with one thing and one thing only: the color of her coat.

For one dog living in the high-kill, Seaaca Animal Shelter, the struggle to find a home is all too real. Neglect pup, this baby weighs only 7 lbs is a young adorable pup, who is often passed up for other dogs.

Neglect case, this baby weighs only 7 lbs!- needs to be cared for, given a bath, some nutrious food (finally), to put meat on her bones! She is a mess and needs a special person to come get her and give her a good home! it's obvious no one really cared about her!

She appears to have been left outside often, if not all the time! please help her!- she is approx. 3-4 years old, a terrier blend! She is available at seaaca animal shelter, downey, california.

Her ID #1815401
Please call (562)-803-3301
Seaaca Animal Shelter

Please hurry! She could be destroyed at any moment!
