if it often the biggest smiles hiding the saddest heart...little girl cling to her toy

A beautiful little girl finds herself at the mercy of a kill shelter and a city that doesn't seem to notice her. Notice that her family abandoned her and how that must feel. Notice that she is a little gremlin, so cute and has the most brilliant smile. Notice that she plays gentle in playgroups. Or notice that she will take her last breathe because nobody wants her. Our hearts are breaking for her.

A volunteer writes: Sheba is such a happy, joyful, and eager girl. Her tail wags like a helicopter, and every time I try to stop petting her, she throws her little head back under my hand for more. It’s the sweetest thing! Sheba pulls a little on the leash but only because she’s excited about exploring everything. She seems to be house-trained, can sit for treats, and does her best to climb into your lap for pets if you’ll let her (she loves butt scratches, and will eagerly roll over for belly rubs). Sheba has been good with other dogs in playgroup at the ACC, although she did display a bit of protectiveness over her toys in her initial exam. Come and meet this charming, happy, tail-waggy little lady at the Brooklyn ACC today!
