Nobody came for this cute little pup today. Shelter gave him an extra day. Please help him

How can you destroy these babies and take away their 2nd chance . Im sorry but look at the shine in their eyes. Just dont understand anymore. Show them love one minute and gas/needle the next.

Please stop killing healthy animals. So why kill one to make room for another, that will most likely be put down as well. This is so wrong on all levels. A shelter is suppose to be a safe haven, not a burial ground..Give these dogs a second chance if that is what it stands for.

I'm an approximately 4 month old male Terrier. I am not yet neutered. I will be available on 9/19. You can visit me at my temporary home at C221.

Sharing around on FB, also tweeted and shared on Google+, how can they kill furbabies whose lives have just begun??? Well, that´s that Carson high kill shelter, I know, but why can´t they take Germany (and some other European countries) as example??? We don´t have a single kill shelter here, each pet gets its fair chance, and if it takes years...

Marion Friedl I agree with you 1000%. Can you share how your area handles homeless animals and their shelters? Any programs that are used to achieve this. US needs to do an overhaul. There are so many shelters that work against allowing their dogs to get saved, it's just mind boggling?!? I can't believe in this day and age that killing is considered acceptable by the mindset of most people. It's how it's always been, It's impossible to pay for the expenses to care for them (spent my entire life believing this must be true when in fact the data supports otherwise) I was told over and over that's just the way it is and get used to it, but that's never going to sit right. Plus it irks me that these killing facilities have the audacity to call themselves "shelter". Please email me if you can. I would love to avoid re-creating the wheel unnecessarily and I am crazed about how to stop this madness and murder of innocent lives. Alicia ddis7711@gmail.com
