forgotten 3 months old pup routinely pass for adoption, prancer still hopeful for a home

Life at the San Antonio Animal Care Services is no cakewalk to say and write the least. San Antonio Animal Care Services is one of those places you dread to visit because it is simply not for the faint of heart. Desperate dogs and cats trapped in the facility have just weeks, and sometimes even just days to find forever families, before the unthinkable happens: euthanasia.

For one dog named Prancer, he could tell you all about the San Antonio Animal Care Services if he could speak. his owner didn’t want him anymore for some reason, and so he mercilessly surrendered him to the Carson shelter knowing full well the repercussions of such an action.

Today, Prancer, an intelligent, high energy Terrier blend is reduced to a hurting and weeping soul, pondering what could be a dark future. Instead of playing out on a field, enjoying all the treats he could handle, he makes a cold concrete slab the only solace from the tears that stream down his face.

Speak Up! if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he rightfully deserves, please contact the San Antonio Animal Care Services at 210-370-7612 and reference the shelter ID #A445718.
